For me, Indonesia was such a surprise!
Living in Brisbane my entire life, every man and his dog has gone to Bali on a family (or boozy) holiday! When myself and my bestie had the opportunity to go here (lets be real, it was the cheapest option!) we jumped at the chance.
Both of us were SUPER hesitant and very much afraid of the ‘Bali tourist’ stereotype that we were creating, but we had chosen a much more authentic experience-to go to the island of Sumatra.
